FIRST IMPRESSIONS TEAM (FIT)
The FIT team believes that the sermon starts in the parking lot, and is made up of individuals who love welcoming each guest and regular attender in a way that reveals God’s love.
GREETERS

Welcome people inside the building to church with a smile, handshake, or high five, and whenever possible, address them by name.
OUTSIDE GREETER – DAN RODRIGUEZ
Welcome people outside the building to church with a smile, handshake, or high five, and whenever possible, address them by name.
USHERS – MIGUEL CARDOZA
Create an environment that gives people the best opportunity to develop a joyful and growing relationship with Jesus. Work to ensure the order, comfort, and safety of the service by helping people find seats, assisting with the offering, and communion.
PARKING – ARMOND LAFOND
Welcome people to church with a warm greeting, manage the flow of traffic, and provide clear directions when needed.
SECURITY – BILL SZYBILLO
Help ensure a safe environment for children and adults during Sunday service and special events.
CONNECT CORNER – KIM PALAZZOLO
Go above and beyond to serve our guests through answering questions, providing clear information, and helping them take next steps.

Help build excitement and community by selling Connect Church merchandise.

CARE
The Care Team cares! These teams ensure that all those in the congregation are cared for in the event of a physical, financial, or spiritual crisis.
MEAL PREPARATION – BRIANA CROCETTO
Prepare and deliver meals to individuals or families who are in crisis. (Funerals, new baby, surgery, etc…)
COMMUNION – DAN & CHRISTINE RAUCH
Help others come to know the love of God by helping them understand the significance of the cross. You will assist with some aspect of communion prep and cleanup.
PRAYER – JOSH & MONIQUE CALDWELL
Be involved in the communication of when a person in our community asks for prayer for any specific need. Whether we are made aware in a Sunday service, online, or a written request on a connect card, we take each request for prayer seriously and it is an honor to pray for others. The prayer team is available to pray with those in need of prayer at the end of a Sunday service.
OUTREACH – BILL HIRSCH
We exist to serve others by showing God’s love in practical ways through meeting the needs within our communities and spheres of influence. Simple acts of kindness can open hearts by giving opportunities for Gospel conversation. We want to show others that we are #FORLONGISLAND.
EVENTS – ALLISON KISTLER
We see our church as a big family, and as a family we want to do meaningful things together. This team plans and organizes events that bring our church family and the community together.

These team members lead and support all of Connect worship, creative, and technological expressions.
BAND/VOCALS – KEVIN CZERWINSKI
Use your instrumental or vocal gifts to help people meet Jesus, worship Him, and encourage a joyful and growing relationship with Christ.
AUDIO & VISUAL – ANDREW LAKHAN
Use your AV gifts to help people grow in their faith by producing high quality sound with minimal distractions.
GRAPHICS & SOCIAL MEDIA – ALEX GALLO
Enhance our church’s brand through web updates, social media, and increase our ability to communicate with others.
PHOTOGRAPHY & VIDEOGRAPHY
This team tells stories by capturing memories of baptisms, clips of worship, preaching, and other church events.

CONNECT STUDENTS (KIDS, TEENS, YOUNG ADULTS)
We want children, teens, young adults, and families to love attending Connect Church! This team provides a safe, fun, and exciting learning environment for students to develop a relationship with Jesus.
NURSERY – RACHEL CARDOZA
Care for babies and toddlers during the service.
KIDZONE – ALLISON KISTLER
Use provided curriculum and supplies to teach Bible lesson in a group setting for children 4 years through 6th grade.
YOUTH GROUP
Join the team that is growing the next generation! Help middle and high school students develop a relationship with Christ by having Bible studies and conversations about life, faith, and help facilitate games/activities/retreats. Youth Group meets on Fridays bi-monthly.
YOUNG ADULTS
This team leads young adults ages 18-29. Help these adults grow in their relationship with God and with one another. Help facilitate activities and retreats.
